Franklin Country Club

We have a beautiful 18-hole golf course, which our Superintendent, Todd Caudill, and his staff keep in excellent condition. Several golf events are scheduled throughout the year, highlighted by our Men’s Invitational Tournament in August. As for fun golf-related events, members can sign up for our blind draw scrambles – held each Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day – and are encouraged to invite overnight house guests to come play as well. We also have a Night Golf Scramble where the back nine is played in the daylight and the front nine is played in the dark with dinner served in between. The front nine will be decorated with glow sticks and players will be given a golf ball that glows.

Thursday Night Men’s Golf Scramble:  Play will begin Thursday, April 4th (weather permitting). Please call (270-586-3863) or be here by 5:00 to sign up. Play will begin at 5:30. All other golfers keep in mind that this is usually several groups that will “shotgun start” on the front nine. All other golfers have the right to continue playing. However, you may encounter one of these groups as you finish the front side.

Invitational Tournament:

Invitational Sign Up Procedures:  Invitational foursome sheets must be completed and returned with payment ($170 per player) by Friday, June 14th. The drawing will be Tuesday, June 18th at 6:00pm. The drawing will consist of one entry per group. If you are in attendance you may choose your tee time when your number is drawn. If you do not attend you will be assigned the first available tee time in the time period (am or pm) that was requested on your entry form. If that is not available you will be assigned the next available tee time period. This allows for entrants to participate in the tournament and not have to be present at the drawing.

Only those groups that participated in the tournament last year will be in the drawing. Any potential new entrants will need to follow the above procedures and will be put in a second drawing if there are any available tee times remaining. Also, if you were in a group last year and split apart to form a new group you will not be in the first drawing.
