Franklin Country Club

We have a beautiful 18-hole golf course, which our Superintendent, Todd Caudill, and his staff keep in excellent condition. Take a virtual tour of our course and see the beauty of it for yourself by watching the video below! Several golf events are scheduled throughout the year, highlighted by our Men’s Invitational Tournament in August. Also throughout our summer season, there is a group of men and women who coordinate a 9 hole scramble for fun one night a week. The men play on Thursday’s and the women play their scramble on Wednesday’s. More information on the weekly scrambles can be found below. You may also view our full Tournament Schedule for the 2018 season by clicking the link below.

Golf Course Improvements

We are currently studying options to improve the grass in our fairways. We have planned to sod #6 fairway, starting from the ditch up to the green, with a new Bermuda (latitude 36). The plan is to begin killing out the current grass starting approximately May 3rd. The killing process will be done in four stages and the goal is to lay the sod around June 18th.  Play will not be allowed on the sod for at least a week (nearest point of relief). Cart traffic will not be allowed until Todd determines it is OK to do so.

Member/Member Tournament

June 9th & 10th

This will be the second year for this tournament. As of now, final details have not been determined; however, we do plan for it to be very much the same as last year. Flights are predetermined based on handicap before play begins on Saturday. Each team will play 9 holes of best ball and 9 holes of modified alternate shot on Saturday for the first round, and then play an 18 hole scramble on Sunday. All details regarding the format, costs, and starting times will be posted in the Pro Shop and Clubhouse by the middle of May.

FCC Club Championship:

Registration ends June 3rd.

  • Round 1 – June 6th-13th
  • Round 2 – June 14th-24th
  • Round 3 – June 25th-July 8th

Invitational Tournament

Invitational Foursome sign up sheets are available in the Pro Shop. They must be filled out with all handicaps and returned with complete payment ($150.00 per player) by Friday, June 15th.

The drawing will be held Tuesday, June 19th. You do not have to attend the drawing, however, those that do may choose their tee time when drawn. Tee times are “first drawn, first served.” Those that had a group last year are guaranteed to play again this year. With that being said, please keep in mind you cannot break away from that group and still be guaranteed a spot with a new group. If there are any spots remaining, a second drawing will be held for any new participants.
